Catching up with George Dillmann, M.S. 1999
George Dillmann is currently the Lab Events Manager at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology. He has been on staff there since 2006. Dillmann manages rental of the rooms in the Vistor's Center portion of the building.
Earlier this year, Dillman began coordinating the Lab's annual Spring Field Ornithology course, which has been offered to the public for 32 years.
There are many things that Dillmann enjoyed about his graduate experience at Iowa State. He appreciated the warm and friendly faculty members, staff, and students in the department; the excellent instruction of the graduate courses; and the top-notch mentoring from professors that he worked with. The beauty of the ISU campus is also one of the things that he fondly remembers.
