Kasei James, a senior in PSA, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business. She was selected after writing a five-page essay on "The Role of African Americans in Agriculture." The scholarship is sponsored by the Pioneer Black Employee Network.
